国際女性デー

朝、都内の外国人さんにリマインダーのメールを書き、最後Happy Tuesdayとしめたところ、Happy Women's Dayと言われた。そうか、今日はそんな日なんだ。

…と思ったら、フォローしている大使館さんのツイートは、Women's Day関連のツイートが並ぶ。

一方では、日本においてはこんな事もあり…　びっくり。



日本はすっかり遅れちゃったね。各国がこの厳しい状況の中、女性をなんとか活かして…というか、とにかく健康で動けるやつは全員とりこぼさず活かしてなんとか国際競争力を高めようとしているのに、保育園に子供を預けられないわ、年金は消えるわ、日本は足下の問題すら解決できてない。

私は幸いにして仕事をするようになってから女性だから、ということでイヤなめにあったことがない。というか、自分が鈍感なだけかもしれないけど。でもいつだったか派遣のバイトやってて（当時派遣はタイプやテンキーさえ早ければ時給が2,000〜3,000円ももらえるいい仕事だった）「お茶入れてください」と言われビックリしたのを覚えている。そのくらい恵まれていた。

これから社会に出る女性の皆さん、頑張って。もしかしたら女ってだけで理不尽な扱いを受けることがあるのかもしれないけど、それは無敵の鈍感力ではねのけましょう。そして自分が望むのであれば結婚も出産も諦めないように。私の時代は無理だったけど（というか、私は無理だったけど）あなたになら出来る。頑張れ、女性たち。今日は国際女性デー！
